When Intrepid acquired 1720 Eye Street NW in 1998 the building was only 25% occupied, it was in poor physical condition and it had absolutely no identity in the market. Upon purchase, Intrepid quickly secured new tenants to bring the occupancy to 50% while initiating a significant renovation to help reposition the property. Today, the renovation is complete. 1720 Eye Street has been successfully re-introduced. Occupancy is 95%. Property valuation has doubled.
